Travel advisory for all Indians traveling to work in India

In view of the rising fuel prices, the general public is hereby advised to follow the travel advisory given below (at least once a week)

  • First thing in the morning, call your boss and intimate that you will not be able to come by your personal vehicle as the transport allowance is inadequate to continue in this mode any further, and that you will be coming to the office depending on the available public transport facility.
  • Kiss your two-wheeler/four-wheeler goodbye (for the day).
  • Start to your work 15 minutes earlier than usual.
  • Go to the nearest bus stop and wait for your bus to arrive.
  • While waiting for the bus, use your verbal skills with persons nearby to collect information about the buses that can take to your work location.
  • While you wait for the bus, take a few selfies and post it on twitter and facebook intimating your friends that you are waiting for the bus since the last – hrs with proper hashtags such as #tiredWaitingForPublicTransport and tag the PMO Office, the CM Office, and the bus transport corporation. Update your status every fifteen minutes.
  • When your bus finally arrives, board it and post the photos inside the bus (this may be difficult due to the rush inside). Continue posting it on the social media with the proper hashtags and tagging the right people in the government machinery.
  • Take care of your purse, as you are traveling after a long time.
  • Continue this in your connecting buses too.
  • Take a final selfie when you finally reach your office at tea break / lunch hour.
  • Thank your boss for being patient and keeping the peace. Ask for a raise.
  • Calculate the time it took for you to travel using the public transport facility.
  • Write your suggestions on the PMO grievance website, CM website and the website of the transport corporation.
  • Check back if the situation improves after a few days, or
  • Go for the adventure again.
